StringFingers ("we", "our", or "us") operates the mobile applications (the "Apps") available on the Google Play Store.

We take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information our Apps access and use. By downloading and using the Apps, you agree to the practices outlined in this policy.

1. No Collection of Personal Data or Account Information

Our Apps are built to be private and functional.

• No Account Creation: There is no login, registration, or profile creation.
• No Personal Data Stored: We do not collect, request, or store your name, email address, phone number, location data, or any other personal details.
• No Server Storage: No user data is ever transmitted to or stored on our external servers.

2. Advertising and Analytics (Google AdMob & Firebase)

Our Apps are supported by advertising and utilize basic, anonymous analytics to help us understand app performance. We use Google AdMob to display advertisements and Google Analytics for Firebase to monitor app usage metrics.

To provide these services, Google utilizes your device's Google Advertising ID (GAID) and standard system metadata (such as device model, session duration, and app launches).

• What is a GAID? The Advertising ID is a unique, user-resettable identification number provided by Android to manage advertising and performance. It does not reveal your real-world identity.
• How Advertising is used: AdMob uses this identifier to serve ads, limit the number of times you see the same ad, detect fraudulent activity, and potentially provide personalized advertising tailored to your interests.
• How Analytics is used: Google Analytics aggregates anonymous usage data (such as how many people open the app daily) to provide us with performance summaries. No personally identifiable information (PII) is attached to these analytics, and no raw data is stored on our own external servers.

3. EU and UK User Consent (GDPR Compliance)

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK Data Protection Act, users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom are presented with a Consent Management banner upon opening the App.

• If you grant consent, AdMob may use your Advertising ID to serve personalized ads.
• If you deny consent, the App will still function fully, but AdMob will only serve non-personalized ads (which rely on the context of the app rather than your past behavior).

You can change or revoke your consent preferences at any time through the privacy settings menu inside the App.

4. Third-Party Links

Our Apps display ads provided by Google AdMob. If you click on an advertisement, you will be directed away from our App to a third-party website or service. We do not control and are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of Google AdMob or any third-party advertisers.

5. Children's Privacy

Our Apps comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. Because our Apps utilize AdMob, we strictly configure our ad placements to comply with Google’s policies regarding child-directed apps where applicable.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. You are advised to review this policy periodically for any changes.
